For anyone out there is using the Beta version of Windows 7 but haven’t got around to checking out all the Themes available I will give a quick list of some themes I found.
Gmail has got a whole lot of users and basically everyone has been stuck with the same, boring, old Gmail interface since the start, however that is suddenly all changing. Apparently, being rolled out to (hopefully) everyone, are a whole lot of different themes for the browser interface of Gmail.
That means if you are using Gmail you no longer will be stuck using the standard look, instead you can switch over to something that more suits your personal taste or desktop theme.
If you have a Gmail account, look out for this feature.
Are you one of those people that likes the look and feel of Chrome but really needs all the features and stability that Mozilla Firefox has to offer?
It is possible to make Firefox look and feel a lot like Google Chrome, thereby enabling you to browse with Firefox with through a Chrome-like interface.
If you are wanting to do just this then check out this LINK and turn Firefox into Chrome!
One thing about Windows XP I have always hated (though it is the most successful Operating System ever released), is the lack of official themes supported by Microsoft.
Well, finally there is another one (1), but who is complaining, it’s better than zero.
The Embedded Theme for Windows XP is official, requires no patching and is a dark navy theme. Quite nice, not as dark as black, but not as bright a blue as the theme that comes installed with Windows XP.
If you need a fresh look on your XP desktop then the Embedded theme might be what you are looking for.
The link to the Embedded Theme for XP is HERE.
Unzip the files to Windows\Resources\Themes and then double-click on the file named Embedded.
