Google Introduces New Favicon
What is a Favicon? Many readers might be asking…well, to clear it up for anyone that doesn’t know, a favicon is that small little icon you see in the left hand corner of your open tabs. It is basically a small graphical representation which appears in the address bar, tabs and your favorites and possibly one or two other places.
Google had two and has just introduced a third, if you look at the picture below you get to see all three, starting from the right is the oldest and the newest one is the most colorful on the left.

If you are interested in favicons, here there is a favicon searcher, where you can look for the favicon of any page and download it. The link is http://www.getfavicon.org and there is a guide about how to make your own favicon too.
