Google Chrome Leaves Beta

In an effort to confuse anyone with naming conventions when it comes to software development, Google Chrome has just jumped from version 0.4 to version 1.0, just like that!

What does that mean, well, it means Google Chrome is now considered a ’stable’ release and can be included with new hardware, or in the case of Google be included in the Google Pack. For those that are not aware the Google Pack is a pack of free software selected by Google. The previous default browser included was Firefox but this is no longer the case, it is now Chrome. If you want to check out the Google Pack the homepage is HERE.

Perhaps this is a move to try and get a larger segment of the market share and better integrate with the suite of Google Web applications. The Google Chrome homepage is HERE.
